This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Evaluate systems-level challenges that involve requirements, interfaces, dependencies, engineering data, tools, workflows, and various technical disciplines.
• Utilize Systems Engineering principles to address requirements, interfaces, data flows, dependencies, trade-offs, integration obstacles, and verification processes.
• Acquire knowledge of unfamiliar engineering challenges, tools, standards, and domains to begin making contributions rapidly.
• Employ analytical and data-driven approaches to address issues across mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and technical data problem sets.
• Facilitate the integration and interoperability of engineering applications, data, models, and workflows within Digital Engineering environments.
• Collaborate across MBSE, PLM, requirements management, digital threads, technical data, CAD, engineering data, and associated workflows.
• Engage in customer-facing technical discussions and communicate effectively among engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs), program personnel, and leadership.
• Investigate unclear technical issues, organize problems, identify gaps, engage SMEs, and assist in driving solutions.
• Create requirements analyses, interface definitions, data-flow descriptions, trade studies, workflow mappings, verification strategies, and integration concepts.
• Gradually lead engineering conversations and workstreams.
• Actively contribute as an engineer within the problem domain.
• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related technical field.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Capability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong aptitude for solving technical problems.
• Quick adaptability to learn unfamiliar engineering concepts, tools, standards, and domains.
• Proficient understanding of Systems Engineering fundamentals, including requirements, interfaces, dependencies, data flows, integration, trade-offs, and verification.
• Systems-level thinking that encompasses engineering disciplines, technical data, applications, and workflows.
• Excellent analytical abilities coupled with a data-driven mindset.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity, independently investigate technical challenges, identify gaps, seek SME input, and lead issues toward resolution.
• Experience in integrating data between applications, engineering tools, analytics platforms, or technical systems.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation proficiency.
• Preferred: experience in defense, aerospace, complex product development, manufacturing, sustainment, or other engineering-intensive fields.
• Preferred: familiarity with MBSE, PLM, digital threads, requirements management, CAD/product data, technical data, Digital Twins, ALM or DevSecOps, or engineering analytics.
• Preferred: experience with interoperability, data modeling, APIs, data transformation, or cross-tool workflows.
• Preferred: exposure to Cameo, Teamcenter, Windchill, Jira, GitLab, CAD platforms, requirements tools, or similar technologies.
• Preferred: current DoD Secret clearance.
• Preferred: a Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
