This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with account teams to provide pre-sales technical consultation, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Oversee the architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade WiFi, switches, routers, security measures, and cloud solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations to IT stakeholders, channel partners, and internal teams.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and NETGEAR Support during post-sales transitions, escalations, and management of customer experiences.
• Collect, analyze, and relay customer feedback and feature requests to Product Management.
• Design and maintain secure networking environments utilizing Zero Trust architecture, user/device segmentation, role-based access, and secure onboarding processes.
• Advocate for and facilitate the adoption of cloud platforms for multi-site management, zero-touch provisioning, alerts, firmware lifecycle management, and network analytics.
• Perform RF planning and network design utilizing Ekahau or similar tools.
• Empower NETGEAR’s channel ecosystem through technical training, solution guidance, and joint customer engagements.
• Stay informed about competitive products, market trends, and the enterprise IT landscape.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or a comparable technical customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 wireless networking technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, and enterprise security practices.
• Experience with cloud-managed networking, including NETGEAR Insight or competing solutions.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts, including identity-based access and micro-segmentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and solution development capabilities across both wireless and wired networks.
• Familiarity with RF design tools such as Ekahau or Hamina.
• Experience in supporting or collaborating with channel partners, MSPs, and mid-market enterprise customers.
• Industry certifications such as CWNA, CCNA/CCNP, or comparable credentials are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%, depending on the requirements of the territory.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of application.
• May be required to provide information regarding current relevant industry certifications such as CWNA, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
