Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily corporate IT operations while enhancing automation, identity and access management, endpoint management, employee lifecycle processes, and service quality.

• Oversee Entra ID/Azure AD identities, including users, groups, roles, MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access policies.

• Manage secure onboarding processes, role/access modifications, and offboarding, encompassing accounts, devices, and applications.

• Ensure the maintenance of laptop security baselines, patching, device inventory, hardware replacements, and compliance reporting.

• Administer the internal Microsoft/Azure environment and key SaaS applications, which includes managing licensing, permissions, and integrations.

• Deliver IT support to employees, adhere to SLAs, maintain a knowledge base, and address recurring issues at their source.

• Maintain access evidence, endpoint compliance, asset inventories, and account lifecycle records for ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audits.

• Execute IT controls consistently and work in collaboration with the Security team on access policy decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Internal IT and/or Systems Administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID administration.

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.

• Experience in Windows endpoint administration.

• Knowledge of Windows Server administration.

• Familiarity with PowerShell or equivalent automation tools.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, and routing.

• Knowledge of security fundamentals including least privilege, patching, endpoint protection, and access controls.

• Experience in IT asset and inventory management.

• Skills in IT troubleshooting and incident management.

• Strong documentation and runbook discipline.

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender ecosystem, Apple/macOS device management, Azure administration, Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, or environments compliant with ISO 27001/SOC 2 is a significant advantage.
