This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Submit and oversee ISP orders for the installation of new circuits, upgrades, disconnections, relocations, and service modifications.
• Collaborate with clients, ISPs, carriers, site representatives, and internal network teams throughout the order lifecycle.
• Monitor order milestones, installation timelines, provisioning, testing, and service activation.
• Follow up on any delays and obstacles encountered.
• Open, track, and escalate provider tickets for outages, performance degradation, packet loss, latency, and other circuit-related issues.
• Diagnose connectivity problems and coordinate circuit testing, activation, failover validation, and restoration with network engineers.
• Assist in network incident response by collecting circuit and device information, assessing service impact, and providing updates.
• Keep precise records of circuit IDs, bandwidth, provider information, site details, order status, ticket history, and escalation contacts.
• Generate status reports and communicate risks, delays, outages, and progress on resolutions.
• Adhere to operational procedures, change controls, SLAs, and client communication protocols.
• Practical experience in a network operations or engineering position within enterprise networks.
• Proficient understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4 addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, and default gateways.
• Familiarity with BGP and OSPF, including the ability to gather information for troubleshooting and escalation purposes.
• Experience in troubleshooting WAN and internet connectivity challenges, such as latency, packet loss, jitter, bandwidth issues, and route reachability.
• Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN devices.
• Competence in utilizing ping, traceroute/tracert, and nslookup tools.
• Experience in reviewing interface status, error counters, logs, routing details, and circuit handoff information.
• Understanding of Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), broadband, Ethernet, MPLS, and SD-WAN underlay circuits.
• Ability to differentiate between provider-side, access-circuit, and customer network issues and engage the appropriate support teams.
• Background in telecom, ISP, carrier, or network operations.
• Familiarity with ISP portals, ticketing systems, order-management tools, and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to support U.S. business hours and participate in an on-call or after-hours rotation if necessary.
