This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Comprehend customer business needs and create architecture and design documentation.
• Develop and implement proof-of-concept and deployment acceptance testing strategies and reports.
• Create implementation manuals along with configuration templates and deployment strategies.
• Execute and support engineering teams in executing intricate deployment strategies.
• Address and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Analyze and report on software and hardware issues.
• Evaluate and assist with or carry out code upgrades for CSfC enclaves.
• Debug and isolate intricate problems.
• Research and assess system requirements, development, process analysis, design, and re-engineering.
• Design IT system architecture that integrates platforms, operating systems, and applications.
• Specify system requirements, input/output processes, and ensure compatibility of hardware/software.
• Coordinate subsystem design and overall system integration.
• Identify, analyze, and rectify program support deficiencies.
• Develop and document frameworks for changes in technical standards.
• Assist in the development and management of architecture governance processes.
• Provide remote and/or on-site support to customers during product deployment and operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology along with 10+ years of relevant experience, or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) 6.x Data Center Virtualization (DCV) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• High level of proficiency with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in VMware Server Virtualization, VDI, vSAN, and vROPS.
• Experience with Virtual Distributed vSwitches and virtual networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Ethernet switching, TCP/UDP protocols, and load balancing technologies.
• Experience in deploying or maintaining OEM products, including Dell, EMC, Cisco, and SonicWall.
• Understanding of data center architectures and design principles.
• Proven experience in producing written technical documentation.
• Familiarity with NSA’s CSfC or related cross-domain technologies.
• Extensive experience with U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community regulations and protocols.
• Secret clearance is required to start employment.
• Top Secret clearance is preferred and required for ongoing employment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including CONUS and OCONUS customer locations.
• Ability to be quickly deployed to customer sites across the USA and global DoD installations.
