This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collaborate with business units and the technical team to gather and specify both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create comprehensive documentation that includes user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, use cases, and workflows.
• Develop models for processes and solutions, encompassing workflows, diagrams, data models, and API contracts.
• Design the technical solution and provide it to the developer, offering clarification on questions throughout the development phase.
• Engage in refinement sessions, planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure that requirements meet the Definition of Ready for development.
• Work alongside the quality team to maintain traceability between requirements, solutions, and tests.
• Utilize SQL to analyze data, comprehend business rules, validate assumptions, and support specification development.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing by verifying that deliverables align with requirements.
• Ensure documentation is current and accessible in Confluence.
• Address incidents that arise in production environments.
• Collaborate closely with the Squad Leader, developers, and the team, overseeing the development process through to production deployment.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or in a comparable role (whether as a contractor/third-party or employee).
• Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Skilled in modeling with UML/BPMN, including use cases, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and process flows.
• Experience in data modeling, focusing on entities, relationships, and data dictionaries.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for effective data querying and analysis.
• Familiarity with application architecture and system integration, including REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and file handling.
• Capable of reading and designing API contracts.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), as well as tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications for developers.
• Critical thinking skills to identify inconsistencies and gaps within business rules.
• 100% remote work environment.
