Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Provide innovative concepts during the project's design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and test systems effectively.

• Develop project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other related documents.

• Commission new solutions at client locations and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Create methodologies for solving complex challenges.

• Stay updated with new technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Develop real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing floor to the enterprise level.

• Work collaboratively with clients to address manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or anticipated completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• A minimum of 5–7 years of experience with some or all of the listed technologies.

• Proficiency in PLC and PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, or vision system design.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, conscientious, focused, and a self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• A valid driver's license.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Willingness to travel 30–50% within the USA.

• Experience in the food and beverage and life sciences sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus is preferred but not required.

• Experience with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is an advantage.
