Business Systems Developer – III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, enhance, and provide support for scalable Salesforce solutions and associated business systems.

• Act as a senior technical resource for Salesforce, focusing on security models, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, queues, public groups, and data governance.

• Design and refine Salesforce automation utilizing Flow Builder, validation rules, approval processes, and other platform functionalities.

• Oversee complex integrations between Salesforce and ERP, marketing automation, data warehouses, and third-party SaaS applications.

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, debugging, and provide production support.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to collect requirements, define solutions, estimate efforts, and prioritize enhancements.

• Manage release processes, deployments, sandbox management, DevOps workflows, and CI/CD practices.

• Uphold data quality and governance standards, including deduplication, imports, exports, and audits.

• Contribute to development standards, coding practices, and platform governance.

• Mentor developers, administrators, and team members.

• Monitor platform performance, storage, security, and system health while recommending improvements.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, process flows, support documentation, and training materials.

• Assist in process optimization, system integration, mergers and acquisitions, and digital transformation projects.

• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Salesforce development experience or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.

• Platform Developer II certification is preferred.

• Additional Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, or Integration Architect are preferred.

• Strong expertise in .NET, Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.

• Practical experience with Salesforce Flow, declarative automation, and platform configuration.

• Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or event-driven integration methods.

• Solid understanding of Salesforce security, governance, sharing models, and compliance practices.

• Experience with DevOps tools, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.

• Ability to independently lead intricate technical initiatives while collaborating effectively with various teams.

• Experience in Agile environments and managing multiple priorities.

• Strong grounding in software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and system integrations.

• Preferred experience with NetSuite, ERP integrations, Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or similar enterprise platforms.

• Experience in supporting global business operations and cross-functional business process optimization is preferred.
