Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor within Fortinet’s Swiss Territory Sales Organization.

• Comprehend the business and technical needs of prospective and existing customers.

• Showcase how Fortinet’s Security Fabric resolves customer security issues.

• Create and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and Proofs of Concept.

• Facilitate technical enablement sessions for Fortinet partners both online and on-site.

• Assist in planning, configuring, and executing Proofs of Concept.

• Provide sales teams with technical expertise, best practices, and competitive insights.

• Collaborate effectively with sales teams, partners, systems engineers, solution architects, consulting systems engineers, and internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to securing strategic customers and expediting deal cycles through technical leadership.

• Aid organizations in developing secure, scalable architectures utilizing Fortinet solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Italian and English.

• Confidence in presenting in both Italian and English.

• Strong passion for IT security and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Practical experience in networking and/or IT security acquired through a vendor, system integrator, service provider, consulting firm, or enterprise IT setting.

• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.

• Trusted-advisor mindset with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations, partner events, and industry conferences.

• Experience or interest in LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, SDN, and next-generation firewalls.

• Additional experience or interest in SASE, Zero Trust, cloud security, or data center architectures.

• Knowledge of AI Security is an advantage.
