This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead and provide guidance for the sustainment systems engineering associated with the Naval Messaging ISEA.

• Assess systems engineering tools and create tailored workflows for Naval Messaging.

• Collaborate with team members to incorporate systems engineering tools into everyday operations.

• Formulate systems engineering strategies and documentation to facilitate the sustainment of Naval Messaging systems.

• Upgrade ISEA systems engineering processes to adopt a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology as directed by the DoN and in alignment with NAVWAR guidelines.

• Oversee the management of system requirements and their distribution for Naval Messaging systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) years of experience; a Master's degree with at least sixteen (16) years of experience; or a PhD or JD with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• An Active Top Secret Clearance is required to begin.

• Possession of CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining Software/Systems within an Agile environment utilizing CI/CD tools and conducting regular Scrum meetings.

• Familiarity with Naval Messaging systems and systems design.

• Experience working on classified systems and handling classified data.

• Proficient in using the IBM Rational Tools Suite.

• Experience with CAMEO digital engineering tools.

• Skilled in requirements development and allocation to DoD system designs.

• Experience in creating systems engineering designs that meet DoD standards.

• Proficient in Jira/Confluence and Microsoft Office applications, including Visio, Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Exceptional communication skills.
