Systems Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and execute real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Develop solutions during the project design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Produce project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documents, case studies, and other relevant documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancement.

• Formulate methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Guide colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Engage in automation solutions that range from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level.

• Design and develop solutions for PLC/PAC, HMI, SCADA, networking, databases, vision systems, machine safety, servo motion, MES, ERP connectors, and high-level software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or forthcoming completion of a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering Technology field.

• 6–8+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI, networking, databases, motion, safety, or high-level programming.

• Academic or industry experience with Ignition (Vision & Perspective), Allen-Bradley, and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT is highly preferred.

• Detail-oriented, diligent, analytical, and focused approach.

• Capability to quickly grasp complex systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple ongoing projects in dynamic environments.

• Willingness for local travel with occasional day trips.

• Ability and readiness to travel further within India.
