This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee and enhance incremental business within the Data Centers Vertical Market.
• Proactively seek out new national and/or global business opportunities that require commercial HVAC systems.
• Cultivate long-term relationships to capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Inspire, lead, and influence REP’s and SSR’s to expand business within designated vertical markets.
• Analyze the data center market to identify relevant HVAC business opportunities.
• Support and drive solutions, offerings, and programs that promote vertical market growth.
• Collaborate with Company Sales offices and Rep organizations to boost sales with national account customers.
• Effectively manage the pipeline in Salesforce and engage in scheduled pipeline reviews.
• Identify and assess potential new National Accounts, providing recommendations on whether to pursue or abandon opportunities.
• Leverage and enhance the National Accounts Authorized REP program for national accounts.
• Train, mentor, and coach field teams in delivering vertical market offerings and solutions.
• Identify, participate in, and promote the Daikin brand at significant marketing events.
• Collaborate with marketing on speaker engagements and publishing opportunities.
• Interface with major account leaders, addressing customer needs while generating strategic sales growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitor strategies to ensure company initiatives remain competitive.
• Establish a strategic focus for growth and new business opportunities for global and national accounts in collaboration with company leaders.
• Coordinate and manage activities related to major global/national accounts, including meetings, visits, and legal affairs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical, Scientific, or Engineering field.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC sales.
• Experience in the Data Center sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of the HVAC Wholesale Distribution industry, including value propositions, competitors, and customers.
• Familiarity with the HVAC Servicing contractor industry is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background checks, and drug testing where allowed by law.
• Safety-sensitive positions may necessitate cannabis (marijuana) testing.
