Systems Analyst / Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Examine requests recorded in Jira Software, grasping requirements, implications, and technical estimates

• Review and confirm requirements documentation

• Engage in refinement meetings and suggest technical solutions

• Create and improve features in Android applications utilizing Kotlin and Java

• Develop comprehensive features, encompassing user interfaces, business logic, data persistence, and API integration

• Implement MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization principles

• Utilize Git for version control

• Conduct testing prior to transferring work to QA

• Assist internal clients and offer technical guidance on products

• Monitor the demand schedule and delivery commitments

• Collaborate with backend, QA, product, and other teams

• Take part in refinement, planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies

• Contribute to the onboarding process and technical knowledge dissemination

• Maintain software quality, security, readability, and maintainability

• Leverage AI to expedite repetitive tasks without compromising architecture, security, or quality

• Stay updated on new tools, models, and AI-assisted development practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing native Android applications

• Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining features in Kotlin

• Familiarity with the maintenance and enhancement of existing Java applications or modules

• Practical experience with Jetpack Compose

• Experience implementing MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns

• Knowledge of Coroutines / Flow

• Understanding of Hilt

• Proficient in Room

• Experience with Retrofit / REST APIs

• Proficient in Git, including branches, merges, and pull/merge requests

• Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing

• Familiarity with Material Design

• Experience with Firebase ecosystem services is a bonus

• Knowledge of the process for publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store is a bonus

• University degree

• Capability to use AI tools for code generation and review, troubleshooting, test creation, documentation, and refactoring

• Ability to provide effective context and instructions to AI tools and validate their outputs technically

• Critical thinking skills to identify incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate results generated by AI
