This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee, maintain, and provide support for ONWA's technology infrastructure, cloud services, and organizational technological systems.
• Ensure the security, accessibility, and dependability of organizational technology assets.
• Offer technical expertise and assistance to staff across various office locations and remote work settings.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including user accounts, permissions, and collaboration platforms.
• Support server and network infrastructure, cybersecurity measures, and system access protocols.
• Engage in technology projects, system enhancements, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with staff, leadership, vendors, and service providers to deliver secure, efficient, and reliable technology solutions throughout the organization.
• Post-secondary Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, Network Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in systems administration, network administration, cloud technologies, or IT support.
• Proven experience in managing Microsoft 365 services, user accounts, permissions, and collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience in maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless technologies, VPNs, and firewall solutions.
• Background in supporting cloud-based environments and technologies for remote workforces.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, capable of assisting both technical and non-technical users.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and organizational technology systems.
• Experience utilizing IT service management and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of enterprise technology platforms, collaboration tools, governance frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and security best practices.
• Understanding of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Awareness of network infrastructure, connectivity solutions, and technology support practices.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity principles.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, hybrid environments, and modern workplace solutions.
• Understanding of IT service management practices, ticketing systems, and technical support processes.
• Ability to communicate in an Indigenous language is considered an asset.
