This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Ensure the operational excellence of a collection of systems/applications.
• Execute standard operational tasks to maintain compliance with ISI standards.
• Oversee compliance documentation management.
• Organize and schedule backup/recovery processes and conduct Disaster Recovery testing.
• Supervise Service Level Agreements.
• Monitor access and identity management.
• Manage server and database patch coordination.
• Resolve incidents through troubleshooting.
• Implement minor software enhancements and configuration modifications.
• Coordinate software management activities.
• Interface and collaborate with various business and IT domains.
• Gather and process requests from business users.
• Conduct Incident and Problem Management tasks.
• Carry out Change Management duties.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure to address, replace, migrate, or decommission legacy systems or infrastructure.
• Retire systems and manage system archiving coordination.
• Facilitate the onboarding of systems from functional areas to the EOC.
• Oversee knowledge transfers, shadowing, and reverse shadowing during system transitions to the EOC.
• Communicate system transition outcomes to the EOC reporting team.
• Must possess a customer-oriented mindset.
• Must be organized and methodical in approach.
• Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be capable of working effectively as part of a team.
• Must have outstanding English speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as German, Japanese, Mandarin, or Spanish is advantageous.
• Must be able to present information in an effective manner.
• Must demonstrate understanding and experience in Infrastructure topics, including databases, servers, cloud systems, and networking.
• A proven understanding of Operational Excellence, with ITIL v3.0 or higher Fundamentals Certification is required.
• Familiarity with pipeline development on AWS stack (Glue, Pyspark, Lambda, S3, SNS, Step Functions, Airflow) is expected.
• Experience in data transformation and modeling using Snowflake and dbt is preferred.
• Knowledge of data integration tools (Snaplogic) is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL are required.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK / CloudFormation) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild) is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years in a System Lead role or a similar position is required.
• Good understanding of assigned applications and system lead support service tasks is essential.
• Experience working with hardware, software, networking, and databases is necessary.
• Proven work experience in IT technical support or a similar role is required.
• Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage.
