System Engineer, ICT Systems Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Integration of Ascom solutions within customers' IT ecosystems.

• Execution of customer projects related to telecommunications and network infrastructure, personal safety systems, server installations, and software applications.

• Design, planning, and support for the commissioning and operation of Ascom platforms and solutions.

• Assistance and consulting for the integration of process systems and applications.

• Integration of applications aimed at optimizing alarm management.

• Custom configuration of IT systems and software solutions tailored to customer needs.

• Close collaboration with Sales, Solution Design, Workflow Consultants, Project Managers, and various other departments.

• Development and execution of complex projects from inception to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training in IT/computer science (e.g., IT systems electronics technician, IT specialist, technician) or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant professional experience in the fields of IT or telecommunications.

• Strong knowledge of communication systems, communication devices, and smart devices.

• Robust IT skills.

• Experience with Windows hardware, software, and application installations.

• Proficiency in network and VoIP applications.

• Desirable: Familiarity with communication applications.

• Advantageous: Experience with ICT systems from leading vendors (Avaya, Siemens, Alcatel, Innovaphone, Mitel, Detewe, or similar).

• Advantageous: Experience with alarm server applications as well as nurse call and fire alarm systems.

• Confident communication skills in both German and English, particularly with global functions and customers.

• Valid driver's license.

• Willingness and capability to successfully deliver customer projects as part of a team.
