System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and develop responsive Angular applications along with reusable component libraries.

• Incorporate REST APIs into Angular interfaces, ensuring proper loading states, error management, and data validation.

• Design UI components for agentic AI functionalities, including chat interfaces, recommendation panels, and monitoring dashboards.

• Develop and design .NET/C# backend services as well as REST/gRPC APIs.

• Connect Python-based agentic services with .NET applications using APIs, message queues, or SDKs.

• Implement SOLID principles, dependency injection, and clean architecture methodologies.

• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, queries, indexes, and ETL processes.

• Take ownership of data model design throughout backend and API development.

• Create automated Playwright UI and end-to-end test suites.

• Develop unit and integration tests for .NET services and APIs.

• Formulate testing strategies for agentic systems, such as prompt regression, output validation, agent behavior, and adversarial testing.

• Engage in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline upkeep, and quality checks for releases.

• Integrate third-party or internally hosted AI/LLM APIs into applications.

• Develop Python scripts and services for agent orchestration and link them to the .NET/Angular infrastructure.

• Deploy, monitor, and manage application services and infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.

• Collaborate with DevOps for scalable, cost-effective, and secure cloud deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in .NET / C# development.

• More than 7 years of experience with SQL Server, including database design, optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

• At least 3 years of practical Angular UI development experience, covering component architecture, state management, and REST API usage.

• Proven full-stack ownership across Angular, API design, .NET backend, SQL Server, and test automation.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building or integrating agentic AI workflows/systems that orchestrate existing AI/LLM APIs.

• Familiarity with Playwright or similar automated UI/end-to-end testing tools.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests for backend services.

• Practical knowledge of agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or custom orchestration.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and integrating AI services.

• Direct experience with AWS and/or GCP in deploying and managing application workloads.

• Strong grasp of REST API design and service-to-service integration patterns.

• Excellent problem-solving skills across the full stack.

• Preferred: experience with consuming OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, or Vertex AI APIs.

• Preferred: familiarity with vector databases and RAG architectures.

• Preferred: knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.

• Preferred: experience with prompt engineering and tools for agent evaluation/observability.

• Preferred: background in enterprise application modernization projects that integrate agentic AI capabilities.

• The ability to conduct meetings in English is required as per application questions.
