System Architect, Awareness to Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the platform-level architecture, standards, and technical strategy for A2R platforms, including Salesforce.

• Oversee data models, organizational frameworks, integration patterns, and platform release strategies.

• Provide guidance on integration and data architecture that connects Salesforce, marketing automation, and customer success platforms with data and analytics systems.

• Establish data contracts and Salesforce write-back methodologies.

• Contribute technical insights on sales forecasting, quote-to-cash processes, pricing, contract lifecycle management, customer success, and marketing automation capabilities.

• Offer advice on platform-level integration points for AI agents and automation initiatives.

• Maintain the shared technical and architectural vision within the Agile Release Train.

• Align agile teams to a unified technical direction from sprint to sprint.

• Define architectural enablers and non-functional requirements, managing enablement capacity in the ART backlog.

• Collaborate with the A2R Solution Architect and Enterprise Architecture teams.

• Engage in PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events.

• Mentor engineering teams on technical methodologies and architectural best practices.

• Identify and address technical risks effectively.

• Ensure that platform configurations adhere to security, privacy, and data governance standards.

• Advocate for Lean-Agile principles, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of industry experience in designing and implementing technical solutions.

• At least 5 years in a role focused on platform, system, or solution architecture.

• Hands-on architectural experience with a minimum of two platform categories: CRM, data and analytics, IT service management/workflow automation, or enterprise resource planning platforms.

• Experience in a SAFe environment or other scaled Agile frameworks, including PI Planning and ART-level ceremonies.

• Proficient knowledge of data model governance, integration patterns, and release/lifecycle management within a leading SaaS platform.

• Capability to deliver technical solutions that meet quality, security, and operational requirements at the platform level.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to mentor engineers and influence the technical direction without formal authority.

• Experience with Salesforce platform architecture, including data model design, integration patterns, quote-to-cash and pricing workflows, and embedded AI agents (preferred).

• Familiarity with modern data and analytics platforms, including data contracts, lakehouse architecture, and propensity/ML data pipelines (preferred).

• Experience in enterprise resource planning platform architecture and/or IT service management/workflow automation platform architecture (preferred).

• Understanding of marketing automation, customer success, and revenue technology ecosystems (preferred).

• Knowledge of AI agent platforms and governance considerations (preferred).

• SAFe Architect Certification or SAFe certification, or a willingness to obtain (preferred).
