Senior Salesforce Practice Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement intricate Salesforce ecosystems that support enterprise digital transformation projects.

• Drive scalable, platform-based Salesforce solutions that align with mission outcomes and long-term modernization objectives.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal leaders and public sector as well as federal clients.

• Assist in early-stage client discussions and influence technical approaches.

• Lead solution design for high-priority projects.

• Oversee technical solutioning for critical bids and provide capture and proposal support.

• Guide business development teams and contribute to the expansion of ICF’s Salesforce practice.

• Balance client-facing pursuit work with hands-on leadership in architecture and delivery.

• Support proposals, oral presentations, technical demonstrations, and discussions with executive-level clients.

• Lead extensive public sector modernization initiatives.

• Collaborate with Salesforce and partner platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in designing and implementing Salesforce or similar SaaS enterprise solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience leading complex solutions with a robust background in enterprise architecture, including integrations, security, scalability, and platform governance.

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust and/or Security Clearance.

• Must reside and work within the United States.

• Certification in one or more principal Salesforce certifications is preferred, including Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Data Architect, Integration Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA).

• Familiarity with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio, MuleSoft, Salesforce Data 360, and Agentforce / AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities is preferred.

• Experience supporting the Department of Defense, civilian federal agencies, or FedRAMP/high-security environments is preferred.

• Proven experience balancing client-facing solutioning/pursuit work with hands-on architecture and delivery leadership.

• Experience in supporting proposals, oral presentations, technical demonstrations, and executive-level client discussions.

• Experience leading large-scale public sector modernization projects.

• Previous consulting or systems integration experience supporting enterprise clients.

• Hands-on experience utilizing Codex, LLM-based tools, and agentic AI workflows within Salesforce environments.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant, Public Sector Solutions Accreditation, Platform Developer I, and Agentforce Specialist.
