System and Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with European site leaders to convert operational challenges into data-driven improvement initiatives.

• Utilize historical, real-time, and predictive analytics.

• Identify, prototype, and implement LLM and Generative AI solutions for business operations.

• Automate standard reporting, manage query maintenance logs, summarize unstructured operational data, and create internal productivity copilots.

• Convert manual Managing Daily Improvement processes into standardized digital workflows.

• Develop prototypes that evolve into enterprise IT solutions.

• Translate business requirements and process improvement concepts into IT specifications and data architectures.

• Design and deliver engaging, interactive training sessions on business intelligence tools and AI capabilities.

• Organize hackathons, lunch-and-learns, and interactive workshops.

• Create and manage a collaborative knowledge platform for key users throughout Europe.

• Act as a subject matter expert linking local site requirements with overarching business intelligence strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in data analytics, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.

• Demonstrated experience in creating intuitive dashboards using modern BI tools, preferably IBM Cognos Analytics, Oracle Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Strong command of Google Workspace (G-Suite).

• Practical experience with Google AppSheet for low-code/no-code mobile app development and workflow automation.

• Sound understanding of Generative AI, prompt engineering, or LLM APIs.

• Strong foundation in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.

• Experience with Python, R, Java, or Google Apps Script is a significant advantage.

• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and conducting workshops.

• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to influence, inspire, and direct teams through digital transformation.

• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects across various sites and stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in English is essential.

• Fluency in French or German is a notable advantage.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to European locations.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
