Senior Fullstack Data Analyst – Commercial analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the analytics framework for customer acquisition, onboarding, growth, and retention.

• Create propensity models, growth dashboards, activation funnels, and commercial go-to-market (GTM) reporting.

• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Sales, and Success teams to provide dashboards and analyses that inform operational decisions.

• Examine customer behavior, commercial performance, and retention trends to pinpoint opportunities for growth and risks.

• Assist onboarding and self-service product teams with insights on activation, engagement, and potential friction points.

• Design and evaluate experiments to validate growth hypotheses and enhance commercial metrics.

• Develop analytics tailored for self-service and AI access.

• Contribute to the definition of metrics and share domain knowledge within the semantic layer.

• Collaborate with Data Services & Governance to ensure alignment of GTM metrics across business intelligence (BI) and AI tools.

• Share expertise, uphold standards, and actively participate in the data community.

• Initiate key improvements to the analytics layer and provide analysis or tools that shape commercial decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in both insights generation and analytics engineering within a SaaS environment; fintech experience is advantageous.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt.

• Familiarity with BigQuery, including handling complex transformations and performance issues.

• Proficient in BI tools such as Looker and LookML.

• Knowledge of GTM metrics, customer lifecycle phases, and revenue outcomes.

• Excellent data visualization capabilities.

• Comprehension of analytics outputs relevant to AI tools and self-service analytics.

• Comfortable with Git-based workflows and CI/CD methodologies for analytics code.

• Strong sense of ownership and discipline in delivery.

• Solid understanding of data contracts, including schema agreements, ownership, and service level agreements (SLAs).
