Data Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, with a focus on the Sportsbook.

• Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and aid in data-driven decision-making within the Sportsbook Product team.

• Assist in product testing, analysis, and reporting to enhance the product and improve user experiences.

• Generate regular and ad hoc insights, collect and present metrics and activities to key stakeholders.

• Evolve into a reliable source of intelligence and advisory over time.

• Collaborate with Analysts and Data Scientists to address business challenges.

• Stay updated on technology and trends in data analytics as well as the sports betting and gaming sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in an analytics role.

• A degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Proficiency in a statistical programming language, such as R or Python.

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau or PowerBI.

• Advanced skills in data analysis or the development of mathematical models.

• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, including multivariate testing.

• Familiarity with code repositories like GitHub.

• Proven ability to closely collaborate with stakeholders, building trust and prioritizing relationships.

• Customer-oriented, highly outcome-driven, and data-focused, with a background in fast-paced environments.

• A logical and analytical mindset for problem-solving, complemented by strong organizational and communication skills.

• Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry is a considerable advantage.

• Experience with Amplitude is a plus.
