Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Gather, cleanse, and analyze data from ERP, CRM, and other business systems to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

• Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports for business users and leadership.

• Write SQL queries and utilize analytics tools to extract, transform, and analyze extensive datasets.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand business needs and convert them into data requirements.

• Present findings and recommendations through clear visualizations and presentations.

• Assist with data migration, integration, and quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Document data processes, definitions, and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability.

• Keep up to date with best practices in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field, or proven equivalent experience in data analysis or a related area.

• Over 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field.

• Proficient in SQL with experience in relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Experience in creating dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Capable of conveying complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in gathering requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• In-depth knowledge of data flows within ERP/CRM systems like SAP, Infor LN, and Salesforce in a manufacturing setting.

• Proficiency in both Italian and English.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks and Delta Lake.

• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata documentation.

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is advantageous.

• Exposure to Agile project environments and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
