System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain customized sheets, intake forms, RAID logs, and dynamic KPI dashboards to support portfolio operations.

• Keep the company-facing plan of record dashboards in Power BI updated, alongside the Smartsheet data sources that support them.

• Set up automated multi-step workflows, alerts, data consolidation, and inter-project linkages utilizing DataMesh, Data Shuttle, and Bridge.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, workspace structures, and license allocation, including deployments overseen through Smartsheet Control Center.

• Assist non-technical stakeholders and internal champions with best practices, documentation, and hands-on assistance.

• Aid in the implementation of the PMO’s AI-enabled Smartsheet roadmap by collecting user feedback and executing approved enhancements.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with implementation, engineering, and installation partner organizations.

• Ensure accurate, connected, and transparent portfolio data and reporting infrastructure for stakeholders across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Smartsheet configuration and development.

• Smartsheet Professional Certification or System Administrator credentials are advantageous.

• Expertise in Smartsheet, including advanced formulas, cross-sheet references, reports, data aggregation, and Smartsheet AI tools.

• Experience integrating Smartsheet with external platforms such as Power BI, Jira, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace.

• Proficient in Power BI to maintain and update existing dashboards and their data connections.

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities, with the capability to convert business requirements into practical, scalable configurations.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with available guidance, along with a readiness to ask questions and highlight issues promptly.

• Experience with Smartsheet Control Center in a multi-project or portfolio setting is a plus.

• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and tools, with a keen interest in applying them to project and portfolio operations.

• Exposure to PMO, scheduling, or project controls environments.

• Up to 10% travel may be required.

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
