Analista COBOL, CICS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Development in COBOL and/or C for a batch application running in an IBM z/OS environment

• Conducting developer testing

• Supporting functional business testing

• Analyzing and resolving incidents in both production and non-production environments

• Analyzing requirements and technical designs

• Interacting with international teams in English

• Participating in the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical applications

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in COBOL and/or C programming within IBM z/OS environments

• Knowledge of SQL statements

• Deep understanding of host development tools: TSO, JCL, ISPF, etc.

• Experience working with DB2 and MQ as subsystems

• Experience in project work

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, primarily with teams based in Germany

• Professional-level English for reading, documentation, and communication in international settings

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Autonomy and a focus on code quality

• Teamwork capabilities and cross-collaboration
