This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage operating systems, servers, accounts, permissions, and related services.
• Execute authorized patching, configuration modifications, backups, and recovery tasks.
• Oversee system performance and resolve incidents.
• Facilitate service restoration processes.
• Provide support for military electronic health record (EHR) environments and deployed IT infrastructure.
• Ensure the upkeep of administration procedures, configuration documentation, and operational records.
• Supervise personnel deployments and navigate the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT).
• Manage host-nation theater clearances and DOCPER requirements across various OCONUS areas of responsibility.
• Operate and maintain military electronic health record systems and supporting IT infrastructures for the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission.
• Ensure system availability, secure configurations, and reliable support in OCONUS settings.
• Proven experience in supporting military EHR and IT systems in an OCONUS context.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• Relevant operating system certification suitable for the supported environment; examples include MCSA and Red Hat.
• Demonstrated experience managing personnel deployments.
• Familiarity with navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT).
• Experience in coordinating host-nation theater clearances and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS regions.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Valid U.S. passport with a minimum of 18 months of validity remaining at the start of contract performance.
• Assigned DCWF role: 451, System Administrator, Intermediate.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Microsoft System Administrator certification.
• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or equivalent certification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must meet applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications prior to independently carrying out duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions.
• Technical and OCONUS readiness must be established on the first day of performance and maintained throughout the assignment.
