This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment of Sardina Systems software along with associated software.

• Design and develop components within automation tools.

• Modify and enhance existing code as needed to introduce new features.

• Offer suggestions to enhance applications and user-friendliness.

• Provide support for cloud environments that have been deployed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of the fundamentals of Linux operating systems.

• Experience in system and network administration.

• Proficient in managing physical servers from HP, Supermicro, and IBM.

• Familiarity with physical network hardware from HP, Cisco, and Juniper.

• Knowledge of software/hardware storage systems and/or FibreChannel SAN.

• Solid understanding of Linux virtualization systems.

• Experience with log management and monitoring techniques.

• Proficient in automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.

• Familiarity with Git, Python, and Shell scripting for operational purposes.

• Basic conversational English proficiency is adequate.

• Previous experience with an ISP, hosting services provider, or network operator is advantageous.

• Understanding of hypervisors like KVM, Xen, HyperV, and VMware is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud management platforms such as OpenStack, GCP, and AWS would be beneficial.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

• Background in data center operations is a plus.

• Experience in software-defined networking would be beneficial.
