Sys Admin, Python Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage Linux/Unix environments while developing infrastructure automation using Python.

• Enhance security measures in graph database environments and apply relevant security standards.

• Create monitoring and alerting systems for optimal performance.

• Evaluate and map out technical dependencies among databases, data pipelines, and enterprise-wide systems.

• Develop and refine data processing pipelines that integrate components based on Python and Java.

• Work independently alongside technical stakeholders to achieve project goals.

• Lead solution development and take responsibility for delivery outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Linux / Unix administration at an advanced level.

• Highly skilled in Python programming.

• Extensive experience with Kafka and streaming data.

• Familiar with Kubernetes on a regular basis.

• Proficient in Java for building data pipelines and APIs.

• Strong background in Linux administration coupled with in-depth networking knowledge.

• Demonstrated expertise in Python for infrastructure automation, scripting, and system tool development.

• Advanced analytical skills for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex performance issues on a large scale.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.

• Proficient in English at a level of B2/C1 or above.

• Practical experience working with Kafka.

• Working knowledge of Java programming.

• Hands-on experience with graph databases like Neo4j or query-layer technologies such as GraphQL APIs and Semantic Views.

• Experience in building or maintaining data ingestion pipelines.

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with the Snowflake data platform.

• Strong understanding of networking topologies and firewall technologies.
