Cloud Specialist – Infrastructure Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS

• Implement and support secure, scalable, and resilient architectures

• Collaborate on and implement Landing Zone and Cloud Foundations architectures

• Automate infrastructure and operations to enhance efficiency and minimize manual errors

• Ensure data and infrastructure security through best practices and security controls

• Optimize performance and costs of cloud infrastructure

• Stay updated with cloud technologies and trends

• Work alongside other technology teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems

• Resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues

• Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions

• Foster a DevOps and Agile culture

• Maintain up-to-date infrastructure aligned with international standards, promoting continuous improvement and audit readiness

• Migrate workloads to AWS

• Work with hybrid and modern architectures: microservices, serverless, and containers

• Manage networking in AWS, including VPN, Transit Gateway, and subnetting

• Apply basic knowledge of AWS Direct Connect

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 years or more of experience in similar roles

• Strong experience designing and managing production AWS infrastructure

• Proficiency with EC2 instances, AMIs, EBS, networking, Auto Scaling, and Load Balancers

• Mastery of VPC, routing, subnets, Security Groups, and network connectivity

• Experience with VPN, Transit Gateway, and/or Direct Connect

• Real capability in managing and troubleshooting Linux/Windows operating systems

• Experience with EBS, S3, and filesystem solutions

• Experience in designing and executing backup and recovery strategies

• Solid understanding of AWS roles, policies, and access mechanisms (IAM)

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation

• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python for operational tasks

• Familiarity with CloudWatch and ability to diagnose infrastructure incidents

• Capability to diagnose complex end-to-end infrastructure incidents

• Creation of technical diagrams, runbooks, procedures, RCA, and architecture documentation

• Ability to receive a requirement, design the infrastructure, implement it, and support it until it stabilizes in production
