This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversee global IT infrastructure services that support business operations and provide comprehensive global infrastructure operations assistance.
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve incidents and problems related to global infrastructure within the Rentokil Initial ITSM Framework.
• Manage and operate storage and VMware virtual infrastructure that supports hosted services.
• Monitor the infrastructure landscape and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability.
• Execute incident management tasks using ServiceNow.
• Install and uninstall hardware and software while documenting the results.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software installation issues and faults.
• Utilize system management software to gather performance statistics and conduct system software maintenance.
• Perform network configuration, installation, and maintenance tasks.
• Gather and report on network load and performance metrics.
• Contribute to both maintenance and installation efforts.
• Conduct scheduled backups and restores while managing offsite storage.
• Configure and maintain storage allocations and systems.
• Identify operational challenges and assist in resolving them.
• A strong enthusiasm for world-class infrastructure technology operations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in monitoring infrastructure environments of medium to large scale.
• Capability to install, configure, and maintain infrastructure systems and solutions according to specifications.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Fundamental knowledge of VMware vSphere.
• Basic understanding of vSAN.
• Introductory knowledge of Veeam and Zerto.
• Basic familiarity with Windows Server and Linux Red Hat.
• Introductory knowledge of Citrix XenApp.
• Basic understanding of Cisco Technologies, including switches, firewalls, or routers.
• Foundational knowledge of SD-WAN.
• Basic understanding of Aruba Networks.
