SVP – Platform Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the enterprise platform delivery strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.

• Develop and manage technology roadmaps that promote scalability, reliability, and innovation.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize technology initiatives and investment opportunities.

• Promote operational excellence, continual improvement, and innovative practices.

• Supervise the comprehensive delivery of technology platforms, applications, and infrastructure services.

• Spearhead platform transformation, modernization efforts, and cloud migration projects.

• Guarantee predictability, quality, performance, timelines, and budget adherence in delivery.

• Apply best practices in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering methodologies.

• Lead and nurture teams across engineering, platform operations, and delivery management.

• Enhance organizational capabilities through talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.

• Define performance metrics and establish accountability frameworks.

• Provide counsel to executive leadership regarding technology delivery and operational performance.

• Work closely with Product Management to ensure platform capabilities meet business requirements.

• Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and key technology partners.

• Ensure platform security, availability, resilience, and compliance with regulations.

• Create governance frameworks for technology delivery and management of operational risks.

• Oversee processes related to disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident management.

• Administer multimillion-dollar operational and capital budgets.

• Promote cost optimization and strategic resource allocation.

• Assess and negotiate vendor partnerships and technology investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in technology delivery, engineering, or platform operations.

• More than 8 years in senior executive leadership roles overseeing large-scale global teams.

• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise platforms and leading digital transformation projects.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, platform engineering, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and software delivery processes.

• Proven experience in managing complex technology portfolios and enterprise-level programs.
