Sustainability Solutions Global Advisor – Livestock

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of new processes and tools aimed at enhancing commercial enablement.

• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship in the development of environmental outcomes.

• Drive the implementation of sustainability product and service solutions focused on commercial environmental outcomes.

• Facilitate collaboration among the Sustainability Solutions team, internal departments, and customer-facing teams.

• Direct the implementation of commercial sustainability strategies related to environmental outcomes.

• Build partnerships with internal teams, customer-facing teams, third-party partners, and external stakeholders.

• Promote the adoption of sustainability frameworks and initiatives centered on environmental outcomes.

• Analyze insights and recommendations to steer initiatives aligned with market demands.

• Collaborate with multifunctional teams to create innovative sustainability products, services, and solutions.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability.

• Incorporate sustainability methodologies related to environmental outcomes into the broader business strategy.

• Oversee strategic initiatives, utilizing customer feedback to refine product offerings and articulate the sustainability value proposition related to commercial environmental outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Typically requires 10 years or more of pertinent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders across global functions, suppliers, and external business partners in a global context.

• Experience in designing or implementing sustainability initiatives.

• Proven professional experience using ESG frameworks, Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) standards, and sustainability impact metrics in a business context.

• Preferred: experience in implementing sustainability programs related to the beef supply chain, animal nutrition, or animal agriculture.

• Preferred: a track record of successfully leading projects or initiatives in complex, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environments.
