Sustainability Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and upkeep of internal resources, which include templates and frameworks.

• Create checklists, guidance documents for external audiences, and frequently asked questions.

• Facilitate reference cross-checks, gather data, and perform quality assurance for content related to LCA and EPD.

• Aid consultants with research, document formatting, and administrative duties associated with EPD projects and deliverables.

• Recognize gaps or outdated content in current resources and suggest enhancements.

• Work collaboratively with team members across various time zones and integrate feedback to enhance resource quality and usability.

• Contribute to One Click LCA’s objective of assisting leaders in construction and manufacturing in reducing their environmental footprint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current university student or recent graduate in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Materials Science, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.

• Fundamental knowledge or a keen interest in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), or the decarbonization of the built environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Organized and structured thought processes.

• Strong written communication abilities.

• Capability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear manner.

• Comfortable navigating databases and documentation platforms.

• Quick learner with new software applications.

• Previous exposure to LCA standards (e.g., EN 15804, ISO 14040/44, ISO 14025, TRACI, or CML) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Academic or hands-on experience with LCA software tools is a plus but not a requirement.

• Basic familiarity with building materials and manufacturing supply chains is desirable but not required.
