Sustainability Coordinator – Co-op Student

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Assist in the coordination of corporate sustainability initiatives, encompassing energy reduction, waste diversion, and sustainable procurement.

• Conduct research and suggest best practices pertinent to Dexterra’s service lines and operational contexts.

• Support the monitoring and analysis of sustainability metrics, such as GHG emissions and waste streams.

• Aid in the creation of internal reports and dashboards to evaluate impact and track progress towards ESG targets.

• Assist in developing awareness and educational materials for internal sustainability initiatives.

• Help organize meetings, webinars, and workshops to disseminate sustainability practices throughout the organization.

• Provide daily administrative support to the ESG team.

• Assist with the documentation and management of files related to sustainability plans, reports, and communications.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a college or university student and plan to return to academic studies after completing the co-op work term.

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, Public Policy, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated strong interest in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, and climate action.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Copilot.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented, remote, or hybrid setting.
