Surveyor, Haven & Scheepvaart

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conducting draft surveys and measurements

• Calibrating lighters and determining cargo quantities

• Inspecting ship holds prior to loading

• Performing inventory checks, container inspections, and sampling

• Carrying out inspections, measurements, and cargo checks on bulk goods such as coal, ores, and metals

• Working in various locations within the port, including aboard ships, at terminals, in sheds, and warehouses

• Operating on a shift schedule with varying hours, including potential night shifts and occasional weekend work

• Collaborating with colleagues to assign tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an MBO qualification or work at MBO level

• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surveyor, preferably within bulk goods

• Proficient in both Dutch and English

• Have strong numerical skills and work accurately

• Be flexible with working hours; the port operates 24/7

• Hold a valid driver's license B

• Be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors

• Be eager to learn and willing to get hands-on
