Survey Programming, Data Scrubbing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and script intricate, multi-national surveys utilizing survey programming platforms.

• Evaluate client questionnaires and logic needs, providing guidance on survey architecture, navigation, and user interactions.

• Perform quality assurance testing to verify logical pathways, quotas, skip patterns, and compatibility across devices.

• Oversee backend survey data management and prepare data for SPSS, Excel, CSV, and other formats.

• Identify and fix scripting errors, link tracking problems, and respondent flow issues during active fieldwork.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and client-side researchers to clarify requirements and offer updates on project timelines.

• Clean and validate survey data to eliminate duplicate or fraudulent responses while maintaining dataset integrity.

• Manage respondent data in accordance with confidentiality standards and ensure PII is scrubbed or anonymized before delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of practical experience in survey programming within a market research, panel, or data collection setting.

• Advanced expertise in prominent survey programming platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer, or comparable ResTech tools.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Python or XML is highly desirable.

• Outstanding analytical and QA capabilities.

• Proven history of delivering clean, error-free survey logic and data files.

• Significant experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.

• Experience in managing expectations, addressing technical inquiries, and ensuring timely project delivery.
