Surgical Profee Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately code surgical professional fee records for procedures conducted in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

• Utilize CPT coding knowledge for the professional billing of surgical cases.

• Code records across a diverse range of medical specialties.

• Achieve client productivity goals while ensuring a coding quality of 95% or higher.

• Operate independently within a consistent work schedule.

• Leverage remote access tools, multi-factor authentication, video conferencing, Outlook, calendar, and Excel applications.

• Contribute to a professional, stable, and adaptable work atmosphere dedicated to coding expertise and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC).

• At least two years of experience in coding surgical professional fee records.

• Proficient in coding a variety of multi-specialty cases.

• Technical proficiency in remote connectivity tools, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via mobile devices, and video conferencing systems.

• Skilled in using office applications such as Outlook for email, calendar management, and Excel spreadsheets.

• A reliable and punctual attendance with a committed work schedule.

• Capability to meet client productivity standards while maintaining a coding quality of 95% or greater.

• Expertise in CPT coding for professional billing of surgical procedures performed in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Ability to work autonomously, maintain a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach, and adapt to changing environments.
