This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
β’ Direct the regional commercial strategy and operating plan focused on Sports Surgical innovation initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with Area Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, distributors, Marketing, Education, Strategic Accounts, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution plans.
β’ Take ownership of launch readiness and implementation for new products and strategic programs.
β’ Drive high-impact evaluations and competitive conversions through product adoption and portfolio pull-through.
β’ Establish priorities and provide business recommendations based on market intelligence, customer insights, competitive dynamics, pipeline data, and financial factors.
β’ Manage portfolio growth strategies for soft-tissue implants and disposables, arthroscopic capital equipment, biologics, and related procedural solutions.
β’ Oversee the development and execution of sales education in partnership with Commercial Education.
β’ Create governance and accountability frameworks, including reporting cadences, dashboards, milestone reviews, decision logs, and assigned action owners.
β’ Influence and lead across various functions, including R&D, Marketing, HCC, Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance.
β’ Engage with customers and key opinion leaders to collect insights, address product and procedural inquiries, resolve objections, and shape strategy.
β’ Forge partnerships with Academic Medical Centers, fellowship programs, professional organizations, and emerging orthopedic leaders.
β’ Develop and articulate field strategies for professional education and society meetings.
β’ Provide leadership during critical field challenges and coordinate solutions for issues.
β’ Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, compliance, continuous improvement, and enhanced commercial execution standards.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) is mandatory.
β’ A valid driverβs license from one of the fifty United States is required.
β’ At least 7 years of progressive experience in medical device, orthopaedics, Sports Surgical sales, marketing, commercial strategy, or a related field is essential.
β’ Sports Surgical experience is highly preferred.
β’ Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional commercial initiatives from strategy development to execution and achieving measurable business outcomes.
β’ Ability to manage business plans, prioritize tasks, make informed decisions, handle competing demands, and hold stakeholders accountable without direct authority.
β’ Experience in leading product launches, customer evaluations, competitive conversions, portfolio expansion, or field enablement programs is strongly preferred.
β’ Strong strategic and financial acumen.
β’ Capability to synthesize market intelligence, customer insights, pipeline data, and performance metrics into actionable recommendations and plans.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior commercial leaders, field sales teams, Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Finance, R&D, HCC, Legal, Regulatory, external distributors, and key opinion leaders.
β’ Exceptional executive-level writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
β’ Strong leadership presence, sound judgment, change leadership capabilities, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
β’ An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to recognize opportunities for revenue growth, competitive differentiation, operational enhancements, and customer value creation.
β’ Ability to operate independently while ensuring governance, stakeholder engagement, and escalation discipline.
β’ Expertise in Sports Surgical products, clinical and surgical procedures, competitive landscape, and consultative selling techniques is highly desired.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of healthcare compliance, regulatory policies, and procedures.
β’ Documented successful commercial performance.
β’ Must be located within a 90-minute radius of an airport in the assigned geographic area.
β’ Willingness to travel 50β75% within the United States.
