Surgical Field Sales Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Engage with Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) clients in a designated region to identify their needs.

• Propose supply chain and service solutions to form distribution contractual agreements.

• Conduct regular and timely in-person meetings with each assigned account.

• Expand the account portfolio by acquiring and onboarding new clients.

• Increase sales by deepening and broadening relationships within existing accounts.

• Assist clients in running an efficient practice and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Develop and oversee an ASC-focused territory, enhancing market share primarily through new account acquisition.

• Propel sales of Henry Schein Surgical Products to ASC clients by devising strategies and targeting accounts.

• Implement company programs and corporate initiatives effectively.

• Address customer concerns swiftly and relay issues and opportunities to the relevant departments.

• Strategically plan, organize, and execute initiatives utilizing company resources, tools, and personnel.

• Coordinate sales activities within the territory with Telesales, Capital Equipment Specialists, and Business Development Executive teams.

• Attend medical conventions and seminars while engaging in required training programs.

• Uphold integrity and pursue ongoing education to enhance sales and business expertise.

• Participate in special projects and fulfill other necessary duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

• Strong selling, communication, presentation, customer service, and negotiation skills.

• Healthcare knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.

• Operating Room experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Generally, 0-2 years of field sales experience is expected.

• A High School diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Goal-oriented with effective time management abilities.

• Solid skills in client prospecting and account management.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• Understanding of industry practices.

• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to convey difficult messages.

• Ability to cultivate partnerships at all levels within the organization and externally.

• Good negotiation abilities.

• Capability to resolve complex issues effectively.

• Project management skills, consultative abilities, and budget management proficiency.

• Willingness to travel typically 60%-75% of the time.
