Surety Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire new accounts and renew current accounts in alignment with organizational and individual objectives.

• Establish and nurture relationships with clients, prospects, service teams, insurance company partners, and influential contacts.

• Deliver proposals in a professional manner and thoroughly review coverage options.

• Effectively communicate with clients, prospects, insurance company partners, and service teams.

• Conclude sales, gather necessary documents and applications, and inform the service team about policy sales.

• Generate leads through community involvement, partner-hosted seminars, industry connections, networking, and referrals.

• Create information and recommendations for potential accounts.

• Present proposals and adhere to firm policies and procedures for new accounts.

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness to reduce the risk of errors and omissions claims.

• Positively represent the firm within the community and with insurance company partners.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance the firm, business segment, and internal processes.

• Elevate issues and discrepancies to the appropriate leadership personnel.

• Achieve monthly new business targets.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to learn the necessary insurance company and firm software applications.

• Maintain all licenses mandated by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions where the firm operates, or be willing and able to acquire all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment.

• Self-motivated with strong verbal and written presentation abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with the insurance industry and underwriting standards.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
