This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the Supported Living/In-Home program at Wall Residences for adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Assist individuals in developing skills, routines, and providing general and safety support in both home and community environments.
• Foster self-direction, social engagement, adaptive skills, independence, initiative, and self-awareness.
• Help individuals sustain their independence in their homes with access to round-the-clock support.
• Ensure health and safety while addressing activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Deliver or coordinate specialized oversight and ongoing or intermittent intervention.
• Cultivate and generalize skills that encourage self-direction and social connections.
• Build supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff, individuals served, and their families.
• Engage individuals in meaningful community activities.
• Travel as necessary within the Winchester and Northern Virginia regional area.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is mandatory.
• A clinical background with a solid understanding of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports.
• Capability to establish supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff, individuals receiving services, and their families.
• Experience in connecting individuals to meaningful community activities.
• A minimum of one year of experience in the developmental disabilities (DD) field is preferred.
• Preferred two years of experience in supervising employees.
• Home office setup and internet access are required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent references are essential.
• A criminal background check with acceptable results is required.
