Support Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Implement a residential energy affordability and greenhouse gas reduction initiative in British Columbia.

• Address inbound inquiries via calls and emails from program participants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Deliver precise and useful information regarding program requirements.

• Achieve key performance metrics, including hold durations and after-call wrap-up time.

• Assist with application evaluations and various administrative duties.

• Engage directly with residents to comprehend their needs and assist them in discovering energy-saving options for their homes.

• Collaborate with the team and the community to minimize emissions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a customer-facing capacity; call center experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Post-secondary education is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Oral fluency in French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Punjabi, or Tagalog is a significant asset.

• A genuine interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, or building science.

• Availability to work regular full-time hours aligned with Pacific Standard Time.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where the position is based without requiring employer sponsorship or assistance.

• Successful candidates must complete pre-employment screening successfully.
