Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – Level 2 or 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and acquire commodity goods and services from a varied supplier network.

• Oversee RFQs/RFPs and evaluate supplier pricing and proposals.

• Collaborate with Quality teams to assess supplier performance, reliability, and punctuality.

• Work with internal stakeholders to confirm accurate and suitable specifications.

• Engage in negotiations to lower costs, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risk.

• Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with legal and company policies, including import/export regulations.

• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure correct receipt and documentation.

• Review and authorize supplier invoices as necessary.

• Utilize process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to enhance supplier quality and drive continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 2: Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of experience; or a Master's Degree; or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, and/or supplier management.

• Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or government procurement; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.

• Capability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Secret-level clearance within a reasonable timeframe after starting, for Level 2.

• Procurement experience in a manufacturing setting, for Level 3.

• Must possess U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, for Level 3.

• Experience or knowledge in purchasing services is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems is preferred.

• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is preferred.
