This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of standard costing, bill of materials, routing accuracy, and periodic cost revaluation across various product lines.
• Oversee product costing, cost roll-ups, cost drivers, BOMs, routings, and overhead rates.
• Conduct analysis of manufacturing variances, product profitability, cost-to-serve, landed cost, and delivered cost.
• Establish, monitor, and report on cost-savings and productivity measures throughout manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Procurement to drive cost-reduction, enhance efficiency, negotiate vendor pricing, and assess make-versus-buy decisions.
• Develop and sustain gross-margin, unit-cost, and productivity KPIs for each product and production line.
• Assist in capacity, capital expenditure, and tooling investment decisions through ROI analysis.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, E&O reserves, physical-to-book reconciliation, and inventory audits.
• Track inventory levels, turns, and provisions.
• Manage logistics cost and performance visibility across freight, warehousing, and distribution.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales on demand and supply planning and financial forecasting.
• Model the P&L and working-capital effects of sourcing, safety stock, and lead-time modifications.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Work in partnership with Accounting on manufacturing fixed assets, depreciation, usage, and inventory revaluation.
• Create internal controls for inventory, receiving, and production reporting.
• Construct and automate manufacturing and cost reporting dashboards.
• Provide input on manufacturing and cost requirements for the NetSuite implementation.
• Manage master data for cost-relevant information across systems.
• Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
• CPA or CMA preferred, or equivalent technical accounting proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in cost and manufacturing accounting, preferably in equipment or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, BOM and routing frameworks, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end ERP implementation.
• Familiarity with the NetSuite ecosystem is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with substantial operational and cost datasets.
• Practical experience in enhancing and automating reporting processes.
• Strong expertise in master data management, including governance, data quality, and consistency across systems.
