Supply Chain Digital Readiness – Process Solutions Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and develop large-scale capital engineering initiatives focused on automation, IoT, and continuous improvement strategies.

• Work collaboratively with Operations, Health & Safety, Finance, Quality, and external suppliers throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Create CapEx documentation, cost estimates, project justifications, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.

• Supervise equipment installation and commissioning, ensuring contractor oversight and adherence to safety regulations.

• Propel continuous improvement efforts to minimize Mean Time Between Failures and enhance operational efficiency utilizing AI, robotics, and digital twin technologies.

• Design training programs and operational documents for effective handover to operational teams.

• Maintain financial oversight, forecast expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with fiduciary responsibilities.

• Advocate for Zero Harm, environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Lead and advance S+ serialization processes and technologies within service centers and pallet-handling sites.

• Act as the principal Process Owner for equipment, infrastructure, and software that supports the S+ ecosystem.

• Spearhead development, standardization, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives with teams in Chile, North America, and globally.

• Direct site-based S+ proof-of-concept and pilot projects.

• Assess and report on trial and test outcomes, providing recommendations for subsequent actions.

• Establish ramp-up and operational metrics; create scorecards and monitoring processes.

• Monitor process and equipment expansion across North America and Chile, delivering regular progress updates.

• Define and document global operational procedures for S+ equipment.

• Transform local improvement concepts into structured projects, requirements, and documentation.

• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and repair processes.

• Validate Total Cost of Ownership assumptions and values during periodic update cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical preferred).

• More than 10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial operations, automation, or logistics sectors.

• Proven experience in Process Engineering and Product development within Supply Chain/Manufacturing.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from problem identification to implementation.

• A mindset focused on process ownership with a comprehensive systems approach.

• Experience collaborating effectively across engineering, operations, digital, and vendor teams.

• Strong influence with stakeholders without direct authority.

• Experience in driving initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Ability to navigate complex global operating environments.

• Proficient in program/project management.

• Capable of translating operational challenges into technical requirements.

• A background in electromechanical systems is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with machine vision, automation, industrial equipment, scanning, serialization, RFID, labeling, or tracking technologies is desirable.

• Proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous.

• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is preferred.

• Experience in product lifecycle management or industrialization is desirable.

• Experience in supply chain transformation is advantageous.

• Background in creating SOPs, playbooks, or scalable operating standards is desirable.

• Financial/TCO optimization experience is a plus.

• Must reside near a major US airport.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within North and South America.
