Supply Chain Data Governance and Process Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the governance of procurement and raw material planning master data.

• Ensure adherence to corporate data standards, policies, and procedures.

• Oversee and enhance compliance in procurement, planning, and Accounts Payable processes across various sites.

• Create KPIs, scorecards, and governance routines to evaluate data quality and process effectiveness.

• Identify underlying issues and implement corrective measures to minimize recurring exceptions.

• Manage material and vendor master data, purchasing organizations/groups, MRP parameters, lead times, safety stock, reorder points, subcontracting, and BOM planning data.

• Assist in governing the Accounts Payable process and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Track blocked invoices, GR/IR discrepancies, payment holds, invoice exceptions, supplier disputes, aging transactions, and payment performance.

• Aid in month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable processes.

• Facilitate regular reviews of invoice exceptions, open purchase orders, unmatched receipts, and aged transactions.

• Establish and oversee data quality metrics and controls; perform audits, root-cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans.

• Optimize inventory parameters and replenishment settings in collaboration with planning teams.

• Promote planning standardization and governance across sites.

• Act as the SAP business lead for master data governance activities.

• Support ERP, planning system, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Lead efforts for process simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain documented processes, controls, and governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Master Data, or ERP systems.

• Strong demonstrated skills with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP products.

• Experience in data governance, master data management, and cross-functional process improvement.

• Prior experience in supporting procurement, third-party manufacturing, and P2P/AP processes is preferred.

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, Master Data Management, Supply Planning Systems, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Governance Frameworks, P2P, AP, GR/IR, Invoice Management, Process Mapping, and Continuous Improvement.

• Must adhere to all safety requirements, PPE standards, and site-specific policies when visiting operational locations.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications such as SAP MM, SAP MDG, CPIM, CSCP, CDMP, or equivalent.
