Supply Chain Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee specialized medical supply par locations, inventories, and implants.

• Develop and design new par locations while adjusting inventory levels based on utilization analysis.

• Manage inventory turnover, excess stock, stock rotation, and expiration dates.

• Administer consignment inventory programs and ensure compliance with documentation.

• Process purchase and bill-only requisitions following cost accounting and contract policies.

• Investigate purchase order statuses and resolve ongoing inventory discrepancies.

• Handle overnight, backorder, and stock-out requests, communicating their impact to department leaders.

• Organize critical expedited transportation to facilitate patient care.

• Reconcile and correct shipping errors and misdelivered products.

• Examine product recalls, retrieve affected equipment and supplies, and maintain recall documentation.

• Lead or engage in continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Onboard, mentor, and train associates on ERP and Supply Chain processes.

• Ensure the orderliness and cleanliness of stock locations.

• Conduct stock inventories.

• Maintain essential documentation and records.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (mandatory).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management or supply chain functions (mandatory).

• Experience with Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies (mandatory).

• At least 2 years in medical Supply Chain operations (preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication abilities.

• Strong teamwork skills.

• Proficient in conflict resolution.

• Active listening skills.

• Ability to build relationships.

• Knowledge of Lean methodologies.
