This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop a contemporary controlling function for the supply chain.
• Serve as a business partner to Operations Management, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
• Oversee inventory valuation and the ongoing enhancement of inventory controlling.
• Provide clarity around stock levels, goods movements, and their financial implications.
• Evaluate supply chain and operations KPIs such as inventory, COGS, logistics costs, and forecast accuracy.
• Assist in budget planning, forecasts, and operational financial planning.
• Construct and refine dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPIs.
• Prepare business cases for operational decisions, including those related to suppliers, logistics frameworks, or inventory strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cost and working capital optimization throughout the value chain.
• Incorporate financial perspectives into operational decision-making.
• A completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Operations Finance, Supply Chain Analytics, or Consulting.
• Relevant experience with inventory management, cost structures, or operational KPIs.
• An analytical and data-focused working style.
• Capability to present complex relationships in a clear and comprehensible manner.
• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Proficient skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau, or a readiness to learn quickly.
• Ideally, experience with ERP or financial systems.
• A keen interest in data analysis, reporting, and the development of meaningful KPIs.
• Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
• A proactive work ethic and adaptability.
• Several years of practical experience; this is not an entry-level position.
