Supplier Performance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Analyze supplier compliance data and identify key factors affecting operations.

• Execute performance enhancement plans for suppliers to achieve compliance.

• Facilitate supplier meetings and coaching sessions focused on OTD, order confirmation, and ASN requirements.

• Act as the primary contact for supplier performance inquiries using Five9 and Oracle Service Cloud.

• Monitor performance progress against improvement plans for critical suppliers.

• Perform root cause analysis on supplier compliance challenges and suggest process, analytical, or other enhancements.

• Serve as a liaison between suppliers and Purchasing and Parts teams when operational delays occur.

• Support Purchasing in re-sourcing backordered and overdue items.

• Assist Purchasing with escalations related to match exception processes.

• Ensure effective cross-functional communication through regular meetings, calls, and emails.

• Identify and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives for the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• 5 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supplier Performance.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.

• Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency, follow-up, and commitment to executing tasks correctly the first time.

• Strong understanding of systems.

• Familiarity with Peoplesoft ERP software and MS Office applications is preferred.

• Availability for some holiday and weekend coverage throughout the year.
