Supplier Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Review that suppliers provide technical documentation (such as APQP/PPAP) during the launch of new products.

• Maintain a control dashboard to ensure that suppliers send all required information to the company’s system.

• Lead meetings with suppliers to assess the quality of their products and address any issues.

• Manage requests for tolerance waivers (Bluepoint).

• Determine when it is necessary to escalate an issue with a supplier based on business criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in automotive fields including Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and/or Product Quality.

• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and Root Cause Analysis methods.

• Experience in Supplier Quality.

• Proficient in statistical data analysis and principles of metrology.

• Familiarity with defect resolution, escalation processes, and follow-up.

• Understanding of metrology principles along with statistical analysis and process control.

• Comprehension of vehicle design, assembly, and process control.

• Insight into tooling and in-plant processes.
